Welcome to Alys Beach
A breathtaking architectural mecca along the Florida Panhandle
Alys Beach (pronounced “Alice”) is like something out of a dream. It is a coveted development along Florida’s Panhandle, with homes priced at well over $2 million and breathtaking architecture. Inspired by structures in destinations like Greece, Morocco, Bermuda, and Guatemala, every home in Alys provides ample outdoor space with large windows, exquisite design, and courtyards connected by open-air hallways.
The land was purchased by Alys and Elton Stephens in the 1970s. They loved vacationing in the area so much, they decided to place a bid on a whim — and won the land that they would later become one of the most valued 30A and sought after home sites in Florida. Since 2000, the area has been consciously and meticulously developed and designed by
Marieanne Khoury-Vogt and her husband, Erik.
This affluent neighborhood features some of the most notable culinary destinations in the South and boasts gorgeous beachfront trails and a state-of-the-art, spa like wellness center,
Zuma. It is an absolute paradise.

Local Lifestyle
Alys Beach is a luxurious resort town populated by both residents and vacationers. The neighborhood is highly community-focused and dedicated to maintaining the class and beauty of their 158-acre paradise. You may recognize Alys Beach by the palm tree lined streets or the picturesque white architecture.
When new homes are built, designers are asked to provide gifts to the community of “Alys” — some homes have benches for pedestrians, works of art along the street, or beautiful sculptural water fountains in the yard.
Alys Beach is currently expanding to include even more custom villas and courtyard homes. The community features a nature preserve, an amphitheater, and dozens of outdoor recreational parks. This luxurious destination focuses on detail and carefully curated amenities. It’s truly the most beautiful place to live.
Dining, Entertainment, and Shopping
The Citizen is a new and notable addition to 30A and Alys Beach with a stunning 18-seat bar, 12-seat raw oyster bar, and a 120-seat upscale, coastal dining room. The menu offers a variety of options with fresh and vibrant flavors from all over the world.
George’s is an upscale, casual restaurant serving the freshest seafood available. They have two menu options: “Behave” or “Misbehave.” The “Behave” menu features organic and healthy dishes, while the “Misbehave” option offers traditionally fried seafood items, like fried oysters and po-boys. Also a must in Alys Beach is
Neat, a bottle shop and tasting room that features artisan spirits, craft beers, and wines. They also have a sleek tasting room with a patio option, light bites, and live music in the evenings.
In addition to their many dining options, Alys Beach is a shopper’s paradise. A favorite spot is the
Alys Shoppe, which sells fashions for men and women, jewelry, swimwear and gifts. Shops feature top designers and locally crafted gifts, and the Shoppe hosts a
Trunk Show each year to kick off the summer.
Also be sure to stop by the
